I am having prepaid tata tata broad band internet conection for unlimited use.
They said you can use it 24 hours daily untill period of 1 year expire.
Now my a/c balance is low and I have renew it 2 month before exp.!!!!!
how is this possible,?
Can anyone give me ans. as how they charge in a unlimited plan after being prepaid?
Internet connection under unlimited plan sch em but expire as money is not sufficient in a/c?
i have used this scheme. Well actually what they do in a prepaid account is that they cut off a certain amount per day from your account. ( like its around 20 to 30 rs per day on unlimited data transfer) but if u have used that amount in exceed ( like say spending more than 20 or 30 rs )then that amount is cut off from your account. Thats the case with you. If the amount in your account expires you will have to renew. That unlimited thing has nothing to do with validity as such. Hope thts a helpful info.
Reply:you may be refering to this - i found it on their website
Id call customer service and tell them that you cant renew right now.. that you want to wait. (you need to call customer service to find out why you paid a year, and only got 10 months)
Q8. What is Anticipatory Renewal?
Ans.: Anticipatory renewal is a feature that allows you to renew in advance i.e. before the expiry of your current validity/ value, without losing out on your current validity. When you do an anticipatory renewal, the new plan is not activated immediately. Instead it goes into a queue and will be activated only when the current plan expires (due to value or validity). Thus, even if you renew in advance, you do not lose out on any validity, as your renewal pack will only come in to effect once your current validity/ value finishes. You can have as many renewal packs in your anticipatory renewal queue as you want to.
Reply:Contact the company, they will be more than happy to answer your questions and help you out. They wont wont to loose any customers anyway....
Reply:I have heard of this scheme with prepaid cell phones. You use them and the minutes expire too soon. Check with the companies customer service. Also, in the U.S., talk to your states Attorney General or other consumer department.
