Does a disc jockey make enough money to live without a roommate and to afford stuff like cable internet etc?

I don't mean like luxary life style, i mean enough so you could afford a decent life without worrying about money every singe second

Depends on how good you are and how big your name is. One of my college instructors is a dj, she said that she makes 200-250 per night. But she only does it twice a month or so. It is very hard to get paying gigs.
