Is internet cafe business in the philippines doing good money?
Not at all. First you have to find a suitable place to house a net cafe, pay the rent, power consumption of multiple computers, pay broadband fee, actually buy decent computers. Adding that all up the costs would not really be worth it especially since most places charge very low for their internet usage.
Reply:There are so many internet cafes around our area, competing for loyal patrons that some of these cafes charge only ten pesos per hour.
Reply:I believe so. Otherwise, Internet cafes would not have mushroomed. In my place alone - the netsite internet cafe in Waltermart, Santa Rosa City, Laguna - the biggest of them all, have slowly but consistently grown, despite numerous small internet cafes. Bottomline, your business have to be strategically located and offer a good customer service so that people who didn't have internet access would find your place convenient and worth the money spent.
Reply:it depends on the location
Reply:Yes, pretty much. As long as the people you hire to look after your business are trustworthy and can be depended upon.
Reply:kuya allan is right.

12 pesos per hour is engough.
Reply:Depends on your standard(s) of what "good money" is.

A small cafe with 8 computer units can net you around 10-15K a month and the more computer units you have, the more your income. If you consider 10-15K good money then it is.
Reply:yes of course because in there isn't much alot of computers in the philippines so they go to the cafe to do their project or just play online games.it's like 15 or 20 pesos for an hour.it's the best business to open now because alot of people go to the cafe after school
Reply:yes! of course. people don't have the money to provide themselves with their own internet connection, or even a computer. it is much cheaper to pay 15 pesos an hour to interect with your friends and family from far away. =]
Reply:Yes, it is a lucrative business. Though, the competition is high but you'd still be able to get profit esp. if you own the place and in good location.
