I work for a small film company. How can I advertise/create a buzz on the internet without spending much money?

I work for an independent film company called Newlightfilms. We have spent alot of money advertising our film (which has a limited release across the UK on Feb 9th 2007). One area we have neglected is the internet (mainly because we dont have the experience or knowledge of internet marketing). We want to creat a buzz around the film./company. How do you think we can get people to go to our website? (www.newlightfilms.com) without spending much (if anything). Thanks!

The first bit of advice I'll give you is to create a *much* simplified version of your site. Very few people are going to spend more than a few moments at your site when every single link leads to a 5-second flash animation. I got tired of waiting *very* quickly and I imagine other people will as well.
Reply:Try using myspace. It seems like a lot of people use that to create a buzz about their projects.

Good luck!
Reply:send out flyers. this is a great way to advertise and get your business going. this site even sells affordable targeted mailing list and much more. check it out: http://hotshorturl.com/fp98
Reply:Try buying a banner on this website.....

www.freetalklive.com it's a REALLY busy site and they are auctioning a banner right now I think it's at $32. They get world-wide traffic. (and no I don't work for them...but I love the site) You can also inquire about on-air ad's too.
